Strange Horizontal Lines Above Lip After Rhinoplasty

I had primary rhino one year ago. There was septal grafting to provide tip elevation, stability. There are now two obnoxious, horizontal lines beneath the columella. I'm guessing it's pressure or resistance at the nasal base? The nose also tends to click to the right, almost like it's snapping out of place when I laugh hard, or yawn. I have to right it by pressing it back into place, at times. Your thoughts how I might remedy the lines, thoughts re: nasal base issue. Thanks!

Horizontal Lines Below Columella Base after Rhinoplasty

Ask your surgeon if the nasal base was narrowed with suture placement or if a graft was placed to augment the area immediately below and posterior to the columella. Complications after the use of either technique could cause  the lines. Ask your surgeon to explain the lines and, if you don't want to consult with him, ask for a copy of the operative report. If the columellar graft, placed for tip support, is in contact with the bone above your front teeth, clicking might occur.... more
