What if Strabismus Surgery Stitches Break? (photo)

My son (6 years) had strabismus surgery 11 days ago. Today I took him for check up. The doctor said that the operation was a big success and his eyes are now perfectly alined. But when the Dr. opened the boys eye she noticed that one stitch on the upper lid (conjunctiva) came undone. The problem is esthetic not functional so I have to decide if I want him to go through the surgery again to correct the stitch. What if I don't want another surgery? What are the consequences and how will his eye look
