Will Juvederm help create more lip show when I smile? lips?

Absolutely! Juvederm is a perfect product for creating fuller lips. This can give a soft, natural looking fullness, without being over done. This typically lasts up to 1 yr however, in some cases it is even longer. Just be sure to go to someone with good experience and credentials.

Creating an upper lip

Hyaluronic acid fillers like Juvederm, Restylane or Belotero are the best options for lip augmentation. The differences between each of the hyaluronic acid gel products include particle size, total concentration, and the extent of cross linking. When done carefully with modest amounts, your results should look quite natural. I tell my patients to expect the correction for at least one year but often it can last even longer. Please remember, your results depend upon the skill and... more

Natural lips with hyaluronic acid fillers and botox

Hyaluronic acid fillers can bring your upper lip into proportion with your lower lip, which is very pleasing and natural. While fillers need to be repeated in the lips, I have found that the amount and frequency of filler injection decreases after 2-3 treatments. This is probably due to the filler stimulating your own body to create collagen, further reinforcing the structure of your lips. If you upper lip becomes smaller with smiling, you may have an element of a "gummy smile." This... more

Juvederm for lip augmentation

Based on the picture provided, Juvederm would help make your upper lip a little fuller and enhance your features. Ask the provider to be conservative and have him/her inject in stages while you look in a mirror so that you are happy with the result and too much is not injected.

Juvederm would provide a nice result in slightly augmenting your lips

Juvederm would provide a nice result in slightly augmenting your lip with a natural appearance. While it is unfortunate that we do see the "duck" lip appear quite often on television it is unnecessary. Juvederm is injected daily with a natural enhancing effect in the hands of skilled surgeons with a very high patient satisfaction. Best regards. Michael V. Elam, M.D.

Would Juvederm Help Create an Upper Lip when I Smile?

Yes, a filler like Juvederm would be able to augment the upper lip. It will last 6-8 months and there's no reason that the upper lip or any lip needs to look unattractive, "ducky" or "over-blown". IMHO, this is an indication that the Plastic and Cosmetic Surgeon or MD that did the Lip Augmentation doesn't understand and follow the proper aesthetics of facial (and lip) beauty. The Palmer Code recognizes the proper aesthetic size and proportion of the lips to make... more

Juvederm for lip augmentation

Juvederm is an excellent filler for lip augmentation. A fuller, but natural-appearing result is readily achievable in the right hands. It tends to last a bit shorter than other areas of the face due to the dynamic nature of the lips, but expect 3-6 months.

Lip augmentation

Lip augmentation can be done safely and judiciously. Remember that it will be more swollen just after injection and then will settle down.

Juvederm for a fuller lip

Fillers done tastefully can help give you a fuller but natural looking upper lip. As the other surgeons stated, a well trained injector can provide a natural enhancement without the duck lip look. The fillers usually last about six months in the lip and the procedure takes less the thirty minutes. You may have a day or so of some swelling but usually it looks good by the next day.

Juvederm in the Upper Lip

You are a natural beauty, so I would not place too much filler in your lips. A small amount of Restylane or Juvederm would suffice to turn out your upper lip. It should last approximately 6-9 months.

Absolutely.

The hyaluronic acid fillers [Restylane, Juvederm, Boletero] are wonderful in this region. And the beauty of it is that you can be as subtle or as aggressive as you like. Personally, I agree with your desire to be subtle and natural, and starting with a half syringe just at the lip margin may be the perfect addition that can turn up the lip a little. Certainly you can continue to build volume little by little if you want a more full look.

Juvederm for Non-Surgical Lip Augmentation

This is a great question. Yes, Juvederm (or similar products from other companies, such as Restylane or Belotero) can be used for upper lip enlargement. This can add both fullness and shape to the lips, and, if done by a skilled provider, will look natural. I recommend that my patients start with half a syringe to see the effects, and then return for the rest depending on how they feel. The treatment will last between 6 and 9 months, generally. Lastly, for those patients who truly have no... more

Juvederm to upper lip

You have a nice full lower lip, and even though this might sound strange, if you are going to alter your lips, you will need filler in both. Proportion is key in lip fillers and most people have 2/3 volume on the bottom, and 1/3 volume on the top. Only filling the top will give the dreaded ducklip or trout pout. Seek a very experienced, physician injector and specifically ask how often he or she does lip fillers. There is a great deal of artistry and skill to lip fillers, and seeing as you... more

Juvederm for upper lip

Juvederm, or another hyaluronic acid filler like Restylane, could be used in the upper lip to make it fuller. There is some artistry involved with the treatment to avoid giving you an unnatural look. Juvederm and Restylane would last around six months, +/- a few months, in the lip.

Juvederm will give you a natural look.

Please consult a cosmetic dermatologist or plastic surgeon who can assess your lips and add Juvederm to give you a natural look. Depending on the amount used, it may last 6 to 8 months or longer.

Juvederm to create upper lip

I treat many patients who have minimal upper lip when they smile, and Juvederm or Restylane are both great treatment options which will last 4-6 months in most people, but even longer in some people. Dr. Benjamin Barankin, Toronto Dermatology Centre.

Upper lip with Juvederm ?

Juvederm can add volume to your lip(s) for about one year. You may want to see a Plastic Surgeon who can evaluate if you have an element of "Gummy smile". This can be treated and will "unfurl" your upper lip. Also fat injection in your lip(s) can give you a more permanent fill.

Upper Lip Injection of Juvederm

Juvederm to the upper lip can accentuate the upper lip exclusively if that is of interest. It would take alot of Juvederm to create the look about which you are worried. Kenneth Hughes, MD Los Angeles, CA

Upper Lip Enhancement

There are a couple approaches to help create a fuller upper lip especially when you smile. One route is to use fillers which are temporary and the other is to use lip implants which are permanent but reversible. Please consult with a board certified specialist who can assist you in achieving the results you seek.

It goes away gradually

Yes, it would make a nice improvement. I think it is important to remember that the HA fillers are not permanent. At 5 or 6 months there will still be a benefit, but not as much as one month. For some people correction will still be present for a year or longer. It does depend how much movement there is in the treated area.
