Answer: Talk To Your Surgeon About Pain After Breast Augmentation If It Is Unbearable It is common to feel some discomfort and pain after breast augmentation, but pain medications is usually enough to control this. I usually recommend my patients wear a comfortable sports bra all the time, day and night, for the first two months after surgery. In some cases, I also ask patients to wear a tensor bandage wrapped around the chest at the top of the breasts for the first 2 weeks as well, all the time. Please ask your surgeon about the bra you're wearing. It might not be the right size and may be able to get something more comfortable. You should also mention the pain you're experiencing, as it could be indication of something.

Answer: Pain after breast augmentation Thank you for your question. Yes, some discomfort several weeks out from surgery is common. Pain is a very subjective thing, meaning it is different for each patient. Some patients will experience more discomfort and some will experience less. Additionally, as you start to feel better, you will likely become more active which can lead to a bit more soreness. Bottom line is that the further you get out from surgery, the pain should be diminishing. As always, discuss your concerns with your surgeon at your next follow up visit. Best of luck.

Answer: Still have pain two weeks after Breast Augmentation under muscle, is that normal ? Should I continue wearing the medical bra? I am sorry to hear the you're still having this pain after 2 weeks. First, I no longer utilize a postoperative bra after breast augmentation and second, with My "24-Hour Breast Augmentation Recovery Plan", patients are rarely taking any narcotics after surgery let alone having pain 2 weeks after surgery. I recommend you work with your plastic surgeon and follow those protocols as he/she knows best what surgery you had done and how to help you move forward.

Answer: Breast Augmentation Surgery Pain I would encourage you to schedule a visit with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon immediately to determine the exact source of your discomfort. You will certainly require a clinical examination and may also require additional imaging studies such as an ultrasound, mammogram, and/or MRI. If these indicate a rupture, your surgeon will likely encourage you to proceed with surgery.

Answer: Still have pain two weeks after Breast Augmentation under muscle, is that normal ? Should I continue wearing the medical bra? At just 2 weeks post-op, it is normal to experience some pain but it should be getting better and better each day. If you are concerned, the only way to know if it is normal is to go see your surgeon and discuss what you are feeling. As for wearing your bra, I like my patients to wear it for about 3 weeks to a month depending on what exact procedure they had & how they are healing. It would be best to ask your surgeon what he/she recommends because each doctor will have their own instructions that you should follow as you are under their care. ac
