I Have a STEP-OFF Sliding Genioplasty!?

sliding genioplasty done about 3.5 weeks ago and so far I am soo depressed about the results because it looks like I have this U-shaped chin. I have a bolt like Frankenstein monster sticking out of my jaw. I want to know if the bone will meet up in a straight line? Instead of a smooth sweep from one side to another there is a kind of rounded outline to the chin now - will the bone meet up again to form a straight sweep?
