I want to remove the mole on my face. almost everybody has told me that this mole is benign. Surgery by stitches scares me. The after scar is not good as well I am left with two options. Radio frequency shave excision or shave excision via Scalpel. Could the experts please guide me in detail the pros and cons of both the methods with specific to my case? Kindly at the bottom mention your choice of treatment in my case Thanks, Danny

It looks as though you are prone to develop post inflammatory hyper pigmentation. I would use a combination of Melarase creams and Melapads, followed by light chemical peels to help improve this condition. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Los Angeles
Hi & thank you for your question. I do not suggest draining this mole yourself. I recommend seeing a dermatologist to evaluate the area and possibly treat. Best of luck.
If you are concerned about a mole, or it has symptoms like itching, burning, pain or bleeding, please do not hesitate and have it removed. Please go to a cosmetic dermatologist with experience in mole removal and lasers so you can limit the scarring. Best, Dr. Emer.
