My husband has a habbit of suqeezing my implants. I had them done 4 years ago above the chest muscle and just recently I notice a change in softness in one of my breasts.. one is a lot softer than the other. I'm worried that there might be a leakage or rupture due to frequent squeezing.

Can Squeezing Cause Saline Implant Rupture? Generally speaking, NO! but if you vigourously do that 10,000 times with an exosting implant crease, I would have to revise my response.

Implant firmness or softness

It is unlikely that your husband did anything to damage your implants. If there is a difference in softness quality of the two implants, you may want to see your surgeon to examine you.

Modern Breast Implants are engineered to withstand hundreds of thousands of compressions before failing and leaking. Although they are not infallible it would take a very forceful compression (such as a hard fall on chest from height, being hit by the dash or steering column in a motor vehicle accident) to rupture an implant. It would take a very powerful force to rupture your implants. Not that the implants are considered lifetime devices, but they are made to last and are quite durable. You would most likely damage your own breast tissue before your implants would be hurt. If a saline implant ruptures, the implant deflates within a day or weeks.
