Pain in Groin Area Since Day After BR Surgery? (photo)

I've been experiencing pain in my left groin area since day after surgery. It seems to be getting worse. also have swelling and pain in left breast with new bruising after 3 weeks - also bulge is painful and warm on lower outside same breast. I will see surgeon tomorrow. Wondering how common swollen warm bulge is and also what could be possible cause for groin pain?

Groin pain and Breast Bulge after Breast Reduction Surgery

Groin pain after breast reduction particularly with one leg swelling and pain should be evaluated for blood clot (DVT). Any breast bulge after breast reduction should be evaluated for hematoma.

I would advise you to seek medical help immediately for the groin pain. Although it can be something as simple as a hernia as another surgeon has suggested, you must rule out something much more serious such as a large blood clot- as this could be life threatening. Seek medical help today!

Groin Pain after BR

It sounds like you are dealing with two separate issues. An examination would be of great benefit. Groin pain is a bit unusual after a Breast Reduction. you could have a groin hernia exacerbated by constipation?? Please ask your surgeon to address your concerns at your next visit.
