Vital signs (pulse, blood pressure, respirations) fluctuate during and after any surgical procedure. There are too many variables to list the causes. I would talk with the surgeon or the anesthesia personnel and ask them if there is anything you need to be concerned about. It is not unusual to diagnose high blood pressure in an individual for the first time during a procedure.
