My husband is the military and we are stationed here. I am wanting to get the surgery before we leave.I am concerned on if the cohesive silicone breast implants are FDA approved before going through with surgery. Also, I have heard that South Korea does have some off the best plastic surgeron's is that true? Lastly, how do if find out if the surgeron is a board certified surgeon?

Form stable cohesive gel implants are not FDA aproved at this time, they are still completing the review of the device. Our data and the international experience suggest they are safe. As for finding a surgeon in Korea, they have excellent surgeons however I do not know how you would go about finding one. On my website you can find a video about silicone gel implants in general.

YES, there are excellent plastic surgeons in South Korea, but the US is still where more plastic and cosmetic surgery is performed than ANYWHERE in the world. To find out if a surgeon is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, visit their web address: abplsurg.org. I'm not sure how to evaluate the training and experience of plastic surgeons in Korea.
