How Soon Can You Have Eyelid Surgery Revision?

i had upper eyelid surgery a week ago and so far hate the results. both eyes are shaped differently and one looks much smaller will this change. when can i get it corrected? also on the smaller eye the inside corner looks cat-like.

Blepharoplasty results take time

You need to be patient. Everyone looks distorted at your stage and it takes time for the swelling to resolve. Give it at least one month to see good improvement. Start to worry at 9months!

Eyelid Revision Surgery

Hi Michelle, Sorry for your early disappointment with your eyelid surgery. Be patient, it does take time for eyelids to heal after surgery. Most of the time the early asymmetries resolve over time. It should be at least 6 months before consideration of revision eyelid surgery should be entertained. Good luck and be well. Dr. P
