My 19-year old son had a 45-minute abdominal surgery 6 years ago that lasted 7 hours and caused thrombocytopenia and 4 more surgeries that month--still no healing. Tissue just pulled apart from wound dehiscence and necrotizing fasciitis. LEFT OPEN 3 months before Alloderm and then skin graft; closure surgery with 13 incisions three years later--no issues. I just learned that 2006 hell was caused by having surgery on ACCUTANE--fully disclosed. Please explain connection to surgical risk. Devon
