I used benzoyl peroxide a few pimples and now I have a cluster of small bumps on my face where it was applied. They aren't painful or itchy. Will these bumps go away quickly and what can I do to treat them?

Benzoyl peroxide, even non-prescription strength, may cause a reaction on your skin, such as itching, peeling, irritation and reddened skin. If your cluster of bumps prevails or worsens, schedule an appointment with your dermatologist. The dermatologist will be able to evaluate your pimples, the small bumps and offer solutions for other treatments to treat acne. If you have severe or cystic acne, Photodynamic therapy with VBeam and Levulan is a highly effective treatment.
