It is important to follow your treating doctor's advice. In my practice, the pressure garment is worn for the first 2 weeks after surgery. However, when possible I ask the patients to continue the garment, especially on the arms, at bedtime for the first 2-3 months.

I had Slim Lipo done on my arms and I was wondering, how long do I need to wear the compression garment? It would have been much easier in the winter as far as clothes are concerned.
