Skin grafting or surgery for stretch mark removal?

Is some sort of a skin grafting or treatment in which skin is grown an option for severe stretch marks? Or is it more possible to remove stretch marks on the legs, hips and thighs via surgery like a Tummy Tuck?

A: Stretch marks are permanent

Other than in the case of a tummy tuck where stretch marks can be removed along with extra skin, there is no way to remove them on other parts of the body.  They would never be totally removed and the scars would probably be worse than the stretch marks unfortunately.
