Skin Resurfacing to Remove Pigmentation and Tan on South Asian Hands?

I am of South Asian origin with a white skin tone. A decade ago, i had bad acne and used tetracycline/minocylcine which darkened my sun exposed areas permanently. Is there a procedure where i can get laser resurfacing done to get my original skin tone back on my hands?

Pigmentation on the hands

If your hands are pigmented from sun exposure and taking the MInocycyline it may be very difficult to eradicate this color. Some lasers may improve this but laser energy is traumatic too, and this in of itself can cause postinflammatory hyperpigmentation so be cautious! Possibly Fraxel Restore nonablative laser along with prescription lightening creams may help. See a board-certified dermatologist to evaluate your condition.
