I had the fraxel:repair 6 days ago and I'm afraid I'm not healing like I'm supposed to. I read that by day 4-5 the skin is peeling and new soft reddish skin comes out. My skin is not doing that at all and I'm still doing aquaphor and vinegar soaks. I think my doctor (a plastic surgeon) may had been too aggressive. Is this normal? would it eventually peel and heal properly? Is there anything I can do to speed up the healing process? I am very scared, should I find a dermatologist instead?
