Skin Discoloration from 12% TCA Chemical Peel?

After a 12% TCA Chemical Peel patch test on my face, that part of the skin turned a little dark. It's been a day now and I don't think the dark spot is fading. Is this permanent? What should I treat it with? Some notes: When I put the peel on a patch of my face, it frosted in about 10 seconds. I was dumb enough to leave it on for 2 minutes. Afterwards when I washed the frosted area, but the frosted area was still white. Soon however, the white faded and that whole area became dark like a bruise
