Most 34-year-olds should be using Retin-A or one of its cousins daily

Most 34 year olds should be using daily Retin A, or one of its cousins such as Differen or Avage. Sunscreens are vital for preventing sun damage. Simple soap and water and moisturizers as needed are the best regimen. Of course there are hundreds of companies out there who are trying to convince us to use their products, even though most have little value.

Best skin care for a 30 something

Gentle daily face washing is always a good place to start. Of course, daily sunscreen if you live in a southern or other sunny climate is essential. As far as age prevention is concerned, creams containing Retinol, a vitamin A derviative, and Niacin, a vitamin B derivative have been demonstrated to repair damaged collagen and improve wrinkles. These can be found in products such as Olay ProX, neutragena Healthy Skin and other propriatary over the counter moisturizers.
