Ask a QuestionHow Long Will my Recovery Be After Surgery for Unusual Deltoid Lipoma Surgery?
I have a large (6.5 x 3.5 x5 cm) intramuscular lipoma deep to the deltoid muscle and abutting the head and neck of the humerous. I have been in pain and have been experiencing impingment syndrome in my right shoulder. I am awaiting referral to an orthopedic oncologist surgeon. I am wondering how extensive the surgery may be and how long the recovery time may be to plan for work, home duty, etc. interruption. Any input would be appreciated.
