I Have Silicon Breast Implants. my Left Breast Feels Like It Shifted to the Side. I now have a lump stuck on side of my breast What shall I do??

Call your surgeon wtih new lump in breast implant augmented breast

Any new lump on your breast should be evaluated by your surgeon. It may require additional testing or biopsy.

If your gel implant shifted and now you feel a stranger lump. The first thing you should do is see a plastic surgeon he may also want to get an MRI.

Silicone breast implant shifted. What to do?

Go see your Board Certified Plastic Surgeon who put them in.  If that is not possible, (moved far away etc).  Then see one who is Board Certified and has experience in this area.  If you can get your records, (most important is the operative note), from your previous plastic surgeon this well help.  These things happen, the Plastic surgeon will evaluate you, and then come up with a plan.

Visit to your plastic surgeon is in order

I couldn't agree with Dr. Mele more.  Although it is probably not an emergency it would be appropriate to consult with your original doctor or if not in the area, a plastic surgeon.  Sometimes this is due to a capsule and other times the pocket enlarges over time.  Repair of the capsule is often performed to correct an overly large pocket.  Good luck.

I would suggest calling your plastic surgeon, and making a follow up appointment. If the original plastic surgeon is not available, then consult a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon in your area who has experience with breast implant revision surgery.
