What are the different side effects of facial liposuction? I've read that numbness, bruising, swelling, etc occur and that cardiac arrythmia is a risk. What is the likelihood of these? How long does swelling and bruising last? Is there potential for permanent numbness?

Thank you for your question. Yes, swelling can take longer to dissipate in the knee and lower leg areas. At one week post op, it is too soon to expect to see the swelling minimize overall and much less in the knee area. You need to give your swelling more time to subside.
