How Soon Can I Shower After Vaser Liposuction?

Hi there, I had vaser lipo on my chest today. I was told I can have a shower tomorrow. Should I remove the covering over the wound when I shower? I have tape a padding over it, when it gets wet I am sure it will come off? I also have paper clips over the wound, I think they say there for 10 days.

Post operative care for liposuction

Different surgeons have different post-operative instructions. As to when it's safe or best to shower after liposuction may depend on whether the insertion sites are stitched or left open, whether there is a special dressing on the insertion site or not, and the surgeon's preference in wound care.
