Considering Titan
Titan works so it is always worth considering. It is not always the best choice, however, and that needs to be discussed with your plastic surgeon.
In addition, understand also that there is some element of variability in the actual performance of the procedure. At Rejuvenation Center, we frequently see patients who have had Titan treatments elsewhere without results and yet get good results from our treatments. As with many things, in the right patient and with a highly skilled doctor or nurse performing the procedure, the results can be really great.
This is not a face-lift. It’s important that people are realistic and say to you, “No, I’m sorry you really do need a face lift. You are not the greatest candidate for this.” I think that practitioners that are doing this treatment need to know this, and we have a lot of education in training our clinicians. Who should we do this on and who should we tell, “You know, I don’t think you’re going to get the best results because you don’t look to me like the person who is going to.”
It‘s also driven by the technique that they’re using and the practitioner who is doing the treatment needs to be giving them the best treatment possible. There are people that aren’t getting enough heat into their skin. They’re not using high enough energies; they’re not stacking their pulses enough. It’s just like with anything. You can go to Supercuts or you can go to a person who's running a great hair salon, and you get a great haircut. You may not be going to a place that is offering the best, whose had the best training. Maybe you’re not going to get a "wow" for your buck. I think that’s part of it. They’re still going to charge you the high money.
I think you need to go where you’re going to get the best result and I think that it really is worth it.
It’s an alternative to surgery. Some people just don’t want to get cut.
