Is Late Seroma Due to Textured Breast Implants?

I had text. Br Implants under the muscle (partial) for primary breast augmentation-got seroma a month after from one br which would not stop, ending in removal of the implants. I read somewhere that late seroma (after a month) is exclusively a textured implant problem. Is it true? Will going for smooth this time alleviate this problem? Also, will going sub-glandular this time cause any more problems? I am from CA but abroad, anxiously waiting my re-implantation. Please HELP! Thanks in advance.

Is Late Seroma Due to Textured Breast Implants? FDA concern

Seromas are very common around breast reconstructions using acellular dermis. You may want to ask your surgeon about this. The FDA recently raised several concerns about the development of late seromas around implants that you may want to discuss wtih your plastic surgeon.

Late seroma

A late seroma is often associated with an infection not necessarily related to the surface texture.  In general, I prefer smooths.
