Turbinate surgery adds approximately 10 minutes to the rhinoplasty procedure time. This is typically billed to the patient’s medical insurance and is covered out of medical necessity. The turbinate reduction is not done for cosmetic purposes, only breathing.

How long is surgery for turbinate reduction
