How much is Too Much for a Septo/rhinoplasty?

Hello, I just underwent a septo-rhinoplasty and received the bill from Stanford Hospital. The procedure cost $35k+. Someone please tell me that this is way too much and there is something I can do about this? My insurance is only covering 2/3 of the cost.

That is a egregious fee

I am not sure if you were hospitalized for multiple days or where this figure came from as it is extremely high. You should be able to speak with your surgeon and have your personal portion dropped and have him accept the insurance fees only. Did he/she give you a preoperative quote? This is way out of line for where I practice in one of the most prestigious areas of plastic surgery in Newport Beach, California.
