I had a breast Augmentation on 28 June 2011 for 350cc both sides. the stitches were opening and I was stitched by my surgeon 3 times, and Secretions started coming out. The surgeon said the body is rejecting this implant and causing infections. two weeks after removal Secretions still coming from the left side. My left nipple was fine before the first operation for the Implant, but I have noticed that my nipple went inside and it is not coming up the area below it is hard, surgeon say normal.

Breast implant

Unfortunately you ad INFECTION not implant rejection. If you still have drainage then you most probably still have infection of the pocket. The drainage need to be cultured and put on the proper antibiotics. Occaisionaly one has to go back clean the pocket, close with a drain and culture the pocket and tissue removed and put on antibiotics.

Breast Augmentation

You had an infection and your surgeon did the right thing by removing the implant. If it is still draining, your body is still clearing the infection. Once your infection is cleared and the tissue is healed (3-6 months) you can have your implant replaced. Good luck!
