Sebaceous Hyperplasia Red Spot?

I recently had a sebaceous hyperplasia removed from my face. I have a little red spot where it was removed. It will be three weeks on Monday January 14, 2013. Is this normal? Is was burned off with a very low frequency according to the dermatologist. Im nervous because I was on Doxycycline for one week when I had it down. Will I have a permanent scare. What is the healing time?
