Nasolabial Folds 11s, Enlarged Pores and Broken Veins on the Nose? (photo)

In general, the things that I'd like to change about my face are: Reduce appearance of nasolabial folds (they don't have to be completely gone, just less pronounced) Reduce appearance of skin folds between the brows (see above, just reduced) Reduce enlarged pores & broken veins on nose, possibly reduce nose! Smooth skin and reduce fine lines Reduce dark circles under eyes Not sure how much of this is possible, how invasive/painful/expensive it would be, etc.

Nasolabial Folds and Cosmetic Improvements Using Radiesse and Other Treatments.

Based on what you have described, different procedures can improve the appearance of the areas you mentioned.

Nasolabial folds can benefit from Radiesse. This is a filler made of calcium based microspheres. It is capable of lifting the skin in situations that require this to happen.  Results are very natural looking.

Dark circles under the eyes can also be treated with Radiesse.

Botox can eliminate frown lines between the brows. These are caused by muscles. So relaxing these muscles will help smooth the frown lines.

Enlarged pores can be treated with Fraxel Dual. This laser uses very specialized wavelengths of energy that activate your skin’s natural ability to create collagen fibers.  The collagen that is created will reduce the size of your pores.

A laser called the V-beam will use energy to enter the blood vessels. The heat from this process will seal up these tissues. And the vessels will be eliminated by the body’s lymphatic waste system.

Here is a video of a patient who benefitted from the use of Radiesse on her nasolabial folds. As you can see this really refreshed the appearance of her face, making her look more youthful.

Treating a variety of facial cosmetic concerns

Thankfully in the 21st century, we have great options for enhancing and optimizing your looks and minimizing or getting rid of facial blemishes. For the "11s" found between the eyes, these dynamic wrinkles are best treated with Botox, although fillers can be helpful for particularly deep "11s". Fillers like juvederm, restylane, perlane and radiesse are great options for nasolabial fold reduction. Pore size and burst blood vessels are best treated with laser and light devices. Best to speak with your dermatologist to decide on the best treatment course for you, and maintenance plan (e.g. home creams, sunscreens, etc). Dr. Benjamin Barankin, Toronto Dermatology Centre.

In general, many of your issues can be effectively dealt with with different types of injection: 11's - Botox, nasolabial folds - fillers such as Radiesse. Enlarged pores and broken veins can be handled with lasers. We would need to see you to give you accurate pricing.
