The advantages of Vanquish.
Great question! What is unique about Vanquish is that it has no contact with your skin at all. There is no pain or recovery associated with this procedure. It is focused radiofrequency tuned to your individual areas of fat with feedback to the device. The sensation is similar to a warm heat lamp. We have coolsculpting also and find that Vanquish is better for larger areas of fat, or fat that is difficult to suck into the Coolsculpting applicator. The Vanquish is 4 30minute sessions.
Vanquish advantages for fat removal
Vanquish is pain free and has no downtime. There is no skin contact, suction or applicators. Vanquish can treat several areas at once - for example the abdomen and flanks, or upper back fat and side bra fat areas. This can give true circumferential size reduction which means fitting better in clothes quickly. Also some patients see results with Vanquish as early as one week after treatment and most patients see results within several weeks after the final treatment. Other non-invasive treatments - Coolsculpting, Liposonix -require about 3 months to see results.

Vanquish is no downtime, no pain, no contact fat reduction
The advantages of Vanquish are many. For a correctly chosen patient, it offers a no pain, no downtime, noninvasive, no contact with skin means of fat reduction.
Other means of treating unwanted fat are invasive, such as liposuction, or other noninvasive means of fat removal - such as high intensity focused ultrasound (Liposonix) or fat freezing (CoolSculpting). Liposonix can be uncomfortable for the patient. CoolSculpting requires an hour treatment and rarely can cause significant discomfort after treatment.
There is NO pain with Vanquish. There is NO recovery. Treatment is a series of 4-6 weekly sessions of 30 minutes duration. Treeatment feels like warmth, almost like a heating blanket.
