I had the procedure done in December 2007. Like most of the other people posting here, I was never informed of the degree or length of time of the swelling and bruising. I also experienced significant pain but I assume that was just me, and not the case for everyone. The commercials are VERY misleading --- I haven't read any post saying that you walk out of there looking great. By the 8th day after the procedure I was feeling well enough to go to work but still swollen and bruised. Now, 8 months after the procedure, I still have numbness in my cheeks (in the area next to my ears). I don't know that I will ever have full feeling return to those areas. I'm happier with my appearance now (tight jaw line, decreased nasal-labial folds), but would I do it again? Definitely not.

I am scheduled to have the LL in 3 days on the 19th of November with Dr. Young. After reading these posts I am ready to cancel and lose my deposit. I would like to hear from anyone who has had the LL done by Dr. Young. Thanks! Donna
