How Can I Make my Scars Less Visible?

I've got all types of scars caused by mosquito bites mostly on my legs. They are both darker and lighter than my complexion (light mediterranean). Is there a cheap way of making then less visible (I don't believe I can make them go away). I've also got other scars from accidents and chicken pox, but i really don't mind so much anymore, but the mosquito bite scars are really embarrasing...

Make scars less visible?
I certainly would recommend Retin , hydroquinone and light chemical peels as treatment for these scars. They may not go away but they should become less noticeable.
