I am a 120 lbs.I had a full tummy tuck and muscle repair a little over 2 years ago. My scar stretched above my bikini line. I want to lower it,however, I am worried that it will stretch again. Do i have enough skin. Do you think my doctor pulled my skin to tight to begin with. Is that why it is so wide and high. Should i get a scar revision to shrink and lower it.

Tummy tuck scar revision

Only if you have enough skin laxity can the scar be revised, closed again to make it narrower and maybe move it very slightly down. I can't tell from the photos but you look pretty tight so it might not be possible. An in person exam would be critical.

A scar revision may not do you any favors. The stretch of the scar is dependent where you skin is the most “loose” and it pulls from there. I would work on improving the quality of the scar you have now.

Addressing high and wide scar 2 years after a tummy tuck

Your post-abdominoplasty scar is quite wide and probably could be revised to obtain a more narrow one especially after 2 years. It may also be possible to lower it slightly. These are conjectures only and the only way for you to obtain definitive answers is by being examined by a reputable board certified plastic surgeon. You can seek a consultation with one or more plastic surgeons in your area.

Abdominoplasty

Yes. Althought there is never a way to predict if the scar would spread or not. There should be less tension now than when it was done. Healing is not always under the control of the surgeon. Scars tend to spread wihen there is a lot of tension and when genetics cause you to heal poorly.

Scar revision

According to your photos you may6 be a candidate for a scar revision to get a more appealing scar. The level of the scar may be lowered slightly, but it is hard to tell exactly without an examination.
