Removing Scar from Navel Piercing?

Is it possible to have a navel piercing scar/hole removed or closed? It has been out/ healed for years.

Trade a hole for a small scar

A hole can be closed but not removed.  There will always be a small scar remaining.  You should always remove any piercings for a surgical procedure to avoid infections and electrocautery burns.
