The pit doesn't bother me. It's not that deep, but the darkness of it bothers me, it looks kind of like a "beauty mark". I want to get rid of the darkness of the scar but I don't think the skin lightening creams will work. I have already used them for a month with no success. What are the best scar removal treatments to get rid of a dark chicken pox scar?

Removal of dark color in chicken pox scars
We have been successful in removing dark pigment from many different types of scars using q-switched lasers. We have used q-switched lasers (Hoya Conbio Medlite C6 and Palomar Q-Yag V) to remove pigment from chicken pox scars, trauma scars from car or mortocycle accidents, bug bites, stretch marks and other trauma scars. With that said, every scar responds differently with some fading completely and others only moderately.
