I had a tummy tuck 5 months ago. I was told not to take my compression garment off until the next day. The next day underneath the garment, on a horizontal line across my belly button there was a 7" scar. Dr. says it's from the compression garment, it's a risk, but the benefits of wearing the garment outweigh the risks. I was never warned of this possibility. I also have fluid build-up in my abdomen, but Dr. maintains I don't. He says my scar will fade... it is very noticeable. What should I do?
