I'm on month 3 on my accutane treatment, taking 60mg/day and have a lot of post inflammatory hyperpigmentation and some remaining comedones, a doctor recommended a LED therapy for hyperpigmentation while on accutane. I'm so concerned and afraid that it might damage my skin.

Having an LED treatment after having filler injections is totally safe. The LED panel will not physically touch the surface of your face which will ensure that it will not effect the integrity of the filler that was injected. The LED also acts as a great healing tool after any trauma to the skin!
Red light therapy is safe, but not very effective. I suggest going to a cosmetic dermatologist for a formal evaluation of your concerns. Best, Dr. Emer.
