I live in SAN DIEGO, California and would very much appreciate if someone who has been happy with the LIFESTYLE LIFT PROCEDURE. I also was curious to know exactly where is the incision? Is there lipo involved? Where does the excess (waddel) under the chin go? And finally do they tighten up the neck area as well?

What is the cost of this procedure? I had planned on having restylane injections this month for my deep laugh lines but now I am thinking of doing this procedure instead. But before I drive 2 hours to a consultation I would like to know if I can afford it. I know I can afford the restylane injections , but I was hoping to compare the cost of both procedures and the long term lasting results. Lynn

As one of the very few men to attempt to get information from Life style lift (LSL), I received little or nothing promised. I tried to send two comments of my experience but I don't believe either went through on this blog (that's why I tried to send a second comment). If either got through, please disregard this one and one of the extras. If this alone gets through...enough said. If nothing got through, maybe this blog is run by or monitored by Life Style Lift and anything even slightly negative does not get through to the readers. If this is the case, I wouldn't be surprised since LSL is a HIGHLY promotional marketing campaign...somewhat unbecoming of the medical profession.

I, too, would like to know the cost for the LSL in San Diego... and does it vary from city to city? Mostly I have seen people answer that it is $4000 in other places. And for the guest that posted on Dec 8, 2006.... whose office was running the special?

Has anyone had Lifestyle Lift performed by Dr. Yco in San Diego? I am scheduled for the procedure in 2 weeks. I consulted with both Dr. Erfani and Dr. Yco in the Mission Valley office of Lifestyle Lift. Both doctors seemed very confident about this procedure, and made me feel comfortable about it. I would like to hear from someone that Dr. Yco has performed the procedure on.
I thought I asked all the right questions in the consultations, but after reading the posts on this website, I know that I didn't.
I have very fair skin, and have sun damage from growing up in the southern California desert. I wonder if that will reduce the effectiveness of the procedure and shorten the time it would last. Also, Dr. Yco already told me that, because of my coloring, I may be a "bleeder." That makes me think the bruising and swelling may be worse for me than for some others in the recovery phase. Both docs both told me the results would most likely last 5-7 years, but from what I've read at this site, that may not be true.
I would love to hear from anyone who has been through the procedure with Dr. Yco in San Diego.
I was VERY excited about this procedure when I saw the informercial on t.v. and the met with the "physician's representative". I was less excited after meeting with the docs and getting a little more realistic expectation of the results, but I still very much wanted to have the procedure. I just got more info from the office staff about what to expect in the recovery phase, which is much more complicated and scary I thought it was going to be. Now I am terrified after reading other people's experiences. There are far too many who've had problems as well as poor results. I will most likely postpone, if not cancel, the procedure. I'm glad there's a place like this to share information.

My mom is seriously considering this procedure, and we're doing research for her. She does not have a computer, so i've been looking it up. The results are mixed, at best.
I want to make sure she does not throw her money away, not to mention endure unnecessary pain & complications. She's been to Dr. Erfani's office, but I notice that there are other docs in the area, including Dr. Yco, who sounds more experienced and have multiple certifications.
If you or someone you know has more insight into the San Diego docs, i'd sure appreciate it.
Thanks,
alice

I am going to have the LSL in June. Has anyone in SD have Dr.Bayer do their surgery? After reading all of these blogs, I can't help but be worried. I do hope that the unhappy people tend to vent more than the happy people. When I was in for my consultation I met two people. I lady sat across from me and mouthed "Don't do it!!" I got her to come over and she showed me her scars. They were visable and one ear was more raised and red than the other. It looked like she recently had surgery to me. She got called in to see the Doctor. A friend and I were looking through the before and after book with the different Doctors when another lady came out. She said she had the LSL done. She looked great! She said she had the worst turkey neck before the LSL. She said she was very happy with the results, that she looks 10 years younger. When we were leaving the unhappy lady came out. They Dr. gave her an injection in her scar area. I think she said cortizone, but I'm not sure. I have not seen anyone mention my Doctor on this site. He is a Dr. that comes down from Los Angeles. I am very sorry for all of you that have had bad surgerys, I wish you all the best. I pray I am not one of you in a couple of months!! I will let you all know what happens. $5,700.00 for my neck and upper eyes. Kimberly

A friend and I are going for a consultation 5/7/07 at the office in Foster City, CA. I have never had any procedures done. What questions should I ask? How do I find out if the Doctor is qualified?

Did anyone ever post a response about Dr. Yco? I am scheduled to have LSL in September with him and would like to hear if anyone has seen him.
