I'm 5 weeks post op and was wondering if it's safe to wear a waist training slimmer yet. Since the slimmer will push up the breasts. Will this affect the shape or appearance by anyways?
Answer: Can I wear a waist trainer after a Breast Augmentation At five weeks postoperatively, one is almost although not quite completely at the point where healing is as strong as it will get. Wearing a lower body binder is certainly possible although you should discuss this with your surgeon. If there is an incision on the crease below your breast, it would be wise to avoid the seam of the binder rubbing on the incision. Possible options would include padding this area to avoid undue motion at this point. Check this out with your surgeon.

Answer: Waist trainer after breast augmentation This is very dependent on multiple factors: the location of your incision (under the breast vs under the vs in the arm pit), the size/style of your implants, how you have recovered/healed up to this point, etc. If you have a healing incision where the trainer will put pressure or still have significant swelling and the implants have not "dropped" yet, this could effect your long-term result. For the majority of my patients, I recommend that they do not even wear an under-wire bra until a minimum of 6 weeks after their surgery. This is a question that you should ask the surgeon who performed your procedure - they would have the information necessary to give you the most complete answer to your question. Best of luck with your recovery

Answer: You may wear them when your incisions have already healed... The waist training slimmer is similar to an underwire bra or a sports bra. It would be tight on the torso and would compress the breasts. You may wear them when your incisions have already healed completely. Regarding its affect on the shape or appearance of your breasts, you should discuss this with your surgeon. Some surgeons prefer that their patients go braless until their breast pockets have completely healed because any pressure that will push breasts inward, such as wearing a waist trainer for a long time, will push the implants together in the midline. This may develop into symmastia or uniboob, which is difficult to correct.
