I know it's not okay to take accutane BEFORE hair transplants, but what about right after the surgery? Literally a few days or a week after for a prolonged time. I want to have surgery but then I want to take care of my skin issues right after. It would only be a minimal dosage by my dermatologist to keep oily skin at bay, around 10-20mg/week. I know you get pimples too after a hair transplant when the new hair is about to sprout. Will the Accutane prevent this from happening?

I'd stick with meds and even consider PRP (platelet rich plasma) for a few years to preserve and/or slow down loss as much as possible. Then at the age of 24 or 25 revisit the idea of a transplant. Any earlier and you may not have an optimal outcome if hair loss creates an obvious transition z...
What you are probably seeing is the absorption of water of the grafts which turn them white. I believe if you look at the grafts hours after you wash, you will not see these whitish areas.
