Which Lasts Longer: Saline or Silicone Breast Implants?

I go in 2 wks to talk to my dr. (which is amazing) But in the mean time i was wanting to get more info. Saline or Silacone. I have heard many bad things about scone but now i am hearing they r just as safe & look better??? When or if the implants have to be removed over time, which last longer?

Saline Implants Have A Higher Rupture (Deflation) Rate Than Silicone

Today's silicone implants are made of a semi solid or soft solid substance which, therefore, cannot leak. Saline has a higher rupture (deflation) rate than silicone, therefore by extrapolation, silicone lasts longer.

Saline vs silicone implants

Saline vs silicone is a personal choice for the patient. In reality, they are both as safe. It is just a preference and comfort for the patient. Saline feel less natural than silicone, but saline ruptures are easier to detect if they shoudl happen.
