Can Salicylic Acid Peel (15%) Remove Redness? Can I Safely up the Percentage At-Home?
I'm currently (and have been for approximately two years) struggling with persistent redness and uneven thick skin texture on nose and cheeks. Last Sunday, I performed my second (at home) Salicylic Acid Treatment. I am not being delusional, but after these two treatments I have noticed that in some areas my redness has COMPLETELY disappeared, and I am hoping for further improvement. Is hoping for all the redness to fade a realistic goal? Sorry, I don't have a camera of any sort.
Also, Is there any significant difference between 15% and 25%? I am currently on the 15% Salicylic Acid Peel, and I have my mind set on upgrading to the 25%. Is this a drastic step to take, going from 15% to 25%? And is it safe and doable at home?
