Will wearing a push up bra all the time help my boobs heal back in their original perky state? Can doing light weight chest exercises help lift the breasts?
Answer: No bras After breast implant removal I find no particular advantage to the use of surgical bras. In fact, I find that they can do more harm than good. In addition, they can put pressure on the healing breast or the wound. They provide no advantage. If the surgery was performed correctly, external appliances after surgery are unnecessary to achieve the appropriate final shape.

CONTACT NOW Answer: How soon after an explant can I wear a push up bra? After undergoing breast implant removal (explantation), it's essential to follow your plastic surgeon's post-operative instructions closely to ensure proper healing and recovery. Typically, your plastic surgeon will provide specific guidelines based on your individual situation, but here are some general considerations regarding wearing a push-up bra after explantation: 1. Consult with your surgeon: Before wearing any type of bra, including a push-up bra, it's crucial to consult with your plastic surgeon to ensure that your breasts have healed adequately and that it's safe to wear a bra. Your plastic surgeon will advise you on the appropriate timing based on your specific circumstances. 2. Allow time for healing: The healing process after breast implant removal can vary depending on factors such as the reason for explantation, the extent of the surgery, and individual healing factors. It's essential to allow sufficient time for your breasts to heal fully before wearing a push-up bra, as wearing a bra too soon could potentially interfere with the healing process or cause discomfort. 3. Listen to your body: Pay attention to any discomfort or sensitivity in your breasts as you gradually resume wearing bras. If you experience any pain or irritation, stop wearing the bra immediately and consult with your plastic surgeon for further guidance. 4. Choose a supportive bra: When you do start wearing a bra again after explantation, opt for a supportive bra that provides adequate support without causing pressure or discomfort. Avoid bras with underwire or excessive padding, as these may not be suitable for recently explanted breasts. 5. Follow post-operative care instructions: In addition to wearing a bra, make sure to follow all of your plastic surgeon's post-operative care instructions, including any recommendations for breast massage, scar care, and follow-up appointments. These measures can help promote proper healing and optimal aesthetic results. Ultimately, the timing for wearing a push-up bra after explantation will depend on your individual healing process and your plastic surgeon's recommendations. It's essential to prioritize your comfort and well-being and to communicate openly with your plastic surgeon about any concerns or questions you may have regarding post-operative care.

Answer: How soon after an explant can I wear a push up bra? From my experience, wearing a compression type bra or wrap is the best post surgical garment to wear to help the skin shrink after an explant. The less tension there is on the skin and tissue the better the skin tends to shrink. After 2-3 switching to a underwire bra or push up bra is ok as long as the skin is supported and the incisions aren't being irritated or affected by the wire or band of the bra. Exercises that work the chest will definitely build and strengthen the muscle, but not to say that will do anything to improve the skin. Providing support or compression to take the tension off the skin is very helpful, but the patients skin and the laxity of the skin also determines how well or how much the skin will retract.
