Not a Place for Radiesse

Radiesse is intended for placement in skin structures deeper than the thin tissue of the nasal tip. Thus it would be very risky. Radiesse in this area bears the potential of tissue necrosis. Restylane or Juvederm much safer in nose than Radiesse.

Hi. Radiesse should only be injected deep near the bone to make cheek bones or chin stronger. The tip of the nose is tricky, and Restylane or Juvederm are much more forgiving.  Very small amounts!

Be careful

The tip of the nose is the most dangerous place to inject filler. If a blood vessel is compressed, the tip loses circulation and can result in necrosis (tissue death). This can be deforming. In my opinion, a tiny amount of Restylane is safer than Radiesse simply becaue it theoretically can be dissolved if there is a complication.
