i have had twins and a son, all born by c-section. I had both cuts along the bikini line (hip to hip). Is it safe for me to have a tummy tuck as i had my last c-section 3 yrs ago and the twins c-section 5 yrs ago?? the last one i did develope an infection which was treated with anti-biotics. im 29 yrs old and have no health issues to note.

Tummy tuck is quite safe after C-section

The two most common 'causes' for tummy tuck are pregnancy and weight loss, and tummy tuck has proven to be very safe for both. Infection along a low c-section scar will often result in tethering of the scar to the abdominal muscles producing a fold above the c-section scar. The c-section scar can be released and revised as the tummy tuck is completed restoring a smooth abdominal contour. It is unlikely for the infection to recur and you should do well.
