How Safe is a Tummy Tuck Procedure?

I am 18 years old and I am having a tummy tuck tomorrow morning. I scared to death of general anesthesia, can you please help me out? I am not overweight, I do not smoke, I am a healthy 18 year old girl. Do I have any reason to be so scared?

Tummy tucks are generally safe in the right facility with the right surgeon on the right patient

There are certain risk factors that are known to increase the probability of complications with tummy tuck, in particular being overweight and smoking. Since niether of these appears to apply in your case, it should be a very safe procedure if you have an experienced plastic surgeon working in an accredited surgery facility.
