How Safe Are Skull Reconstruction Surgeries?

And are they considered "plastic surgery"? I am a 20 year old male with a largely protruding brow ridge. Haven't ruled out genetics but fixable?

in the hands of an experienced surgeon, this is a reasonably safe procedure. The main concerns relate to the underlying sinus cavity as  well as the nerves exiting the skull to the forehead.
