Short Scar Facelift 3 Months after Restylane to Cheeks
There would be no problem having a short scar facelift 3 months after Restylane injections in the cheeks. If you've not already had the injections, I'd wait until after the facelift, so the Restylane can be used to both improve cheeek contour and refine any irregularities from the facelift.

Face lift after fillers
Fillers and face lift act in a complimentary way, i.e. each makes the results of the other even better. There is no problem combining the 2 or having one after the other

Facelift is safe 3 months after Restylane, Perlane, Juvederm, Radiesse, Sculptra or other Facial Filler
In my opinion 3 months is an adequate waiting period to have a Facelift after filler injection with Restylane, Perlane, Juvederm, Radiesse, Sculptra or other facial soft tissue filler.
In most cases I recommend waiting for filler injection until after the Facelift. The skin of the cheek in particular can relax after a Facelift and an injection of Perlane, Radiesse or Sculptra can restore the cheek fullness and enhance the Facelift result.

Short Scar Facelift following Resylane injection
Yes, at 3 months following the Restylane injection you tissues would have had time to incorporate the hyaluronic acid material and it should be safe to proceed with a short scar facelift. Depending on the extent of the facelift and the location of the injections some plastic surgeons will do the injections at the same time as the facelift.

Safe for you to have any type of Facelift after Cheek Fillers
Yes, of course it's safe for you to have any type of Facelift after Cheek Fillers..in fact, they coould have been done at the same time IMHO. Sculptra, Perlane, Radiesse or one of the other fillers are all OK.

Restylane will not interfere with your S - Lift.
Restylane is placed immediately beneath the skin or right on bone. It becomes incorporated into the tissue very rapidly and will in no way interfere with the surgeons maneuvers in that area. Not the same story with silicone injection, so it's a good thing you stuck to FDA approved materials for your injection. Smart patient!

Facelift following a Filler
A Facelift will not disrupt Restylane enhancement. It is important to discuss with your Facial Plastic Surgeons your specific concerns

Safety
It should be completely safe to perform the procedure. There will be benefits seen from both procedures and you should enjoy the result. We commonly perform volume restoration as well as lifting procedures sequentially.

Facelift after restylane injections
In short: There should be no issues with having a facelift (of any type) after dermal injections (like Restylane). Hope that was helpful. All the best, Dr. John Vartanian.

Ok to proceed
I see no contraindications to proceed with your short scar facelift procedure. If you have not yet had your filler procedure, I would wait until after your surgical facial rejuvenation.

Facelift after Restylane
I would base this decision on the following:
1. Amount of filler injected: 1 cc is not going to change the result substantially, 2 or more syringes will make a difference.
2. Compare your current pictures to your pre-Restylane pics. If no substantial difference, you should be good to go.
Generally speaking, if you are thinking of waiting, it is probably best to wait. The best chance at a great facelift is the first operation and the best longterm...

Is it safe to have a facelift?
Facelifting involves a much larger movement of tissue. Maybe allowing more time to pass would be better in this case to see what the soft tissues actually appear like once the filler has started resolve.

Fillers before short scar lift
Is very common at the same time of a facelit the injection of a filler. So I think it is safe to perform a short scar lift a few months after a filler.

Yes it is safe
It is safe to have a minilift or S-lift three months after cheek enhancement. I would recommend you see a surgeon with extensive experience with minilifts so you get the result you expect. I personally customize my minilifts for each patient's personal anatomy, and I feel this is very important so that we end up with a very natural appearing result with inconspicuous scars.

Minifacelifts after Restylane
This is not unreasonable to do but be sure the S lift is going to give you the result you want. It is just a minilift and often done by non-plastic surgeons. The results are less than a real facelift and don't last as long but have the same scars.

Facelift & fillers
Go ahead. It's common for us to operate in this situation, although I'd much rather perform the facelift first, and add the fillers later, rather than the other way around!
Best of luck!

Facelift after injectable fillers to cheeks
Given my experience, it is safe to perform a facelift with dermal fillers present within the face. It is rather common for me to encounter some filler material within the surgical path of the lift. If this is the case in you, a possible side-effect of the facelift may be some decrease in the overall filler volume.

Facelift after restylane
I would not anticipate any problem with performing a facelift after use of restylane for cheek enhancement. I would not anticipate that the restylane will have a shorter duration because a facelift was performed nor would I anticipate that the lift would be done differently or have a different outcome for having had the restylane placed. Maintenance of the fullness of the cheeks either by continuing with restylane treatment or use of lipo transfer techniques would be necessary to...

Face lift after fillers
I would see no contra-indication to proceeding with a facelift 3 months after cheek augmentation with fillers. However, if you waited a year the fillers could be replaced with fat grafts at the time of the face lift.

Very Safe
You should have no issues with the Restylane.
We frequently include injections as a portion of our facial rejuvenations - often injecting at the same time as the face-lift so the patients do not feel the injections at all.
The more important question is- Will a S lift or short scar lift of any type give you the result you wish? We are seeing more and more unhappy patients because of the short life and limited style of many of the short scar techniques. It is important...

Facelift after fillers
I think at 3months after filler it is safe to perform a facelift. I prefer to do the facelift first and "touch-up" the face with fillers in areas that the facelift can not treat adequately.
