After an endoscopic subperiosteal midface lift that caused prolonged swelling (>6 mon) the facial vein at the corner of my nose and eye became enlarged. I know sclerotherapy is not recommended because the vein leads to cavernous areas of the brain but can it be safely ligated and removed? If so, how large would the incisions need to be? This vein adds significantly to the width of the bridge of my nose. Thanks for any info.
